Rosemarie VELIK is a senior researcher at the Biorobotics and Neuro-Engineering Department of Fatronik – Tecnalia, Spain. Before that, she was assistant professor at the Vienna University of Technology, Institute of Computer Technology. She was honored with the Promotion Sub Auspiciis Praesidentis Rei Publicae due to her extraordinary accomplishments during her scholastic and academic career. Her current main research fields are brain-inspired machine perception and machine learning, biorobotics, neuro-engineering, theoretical and computational neuroscience, cognitive automation, and artificial intelligence.
