Abstract:

Diagnosing gaming disorder requires that mental health practitioners weigh in patient's values in an appropriate symmetry with an evidence-based approach to deal with patient's issues. Nevertheless, to date, the science of gaming disorder tends to overemphasize psychopharmacological and therapeutic intervention, while the importance of values is ignored to the periphery. We argue in this paper, for gaming disorder formalization to be rigid, the science of gaming disorder needs further research and its scientific basis be established with an improved data of the players at the local level.

Abstract:

Characterized by limited or almost inexistent social skills, autistic children imperatively need social integration, in order to ensure a positive social environment in which they could imitate their colleagues and develop better means of communication. A sample of 60 teachers from public and special schools, aged between 29 and 50 years old, was assessed using Inclusion of Children with Special Needs in Public Schools Questionnaire (Chițu, Barcau & Blaga, 2016) in order to analyse their opinions and attitudes towards inclusive education. A sample of 75 children (aged between 8 and 12 years old) with Autistic Spectrum Disorder, with whom these teachers interact, was assessed with Adaptive Behaviour Assessment System II (ABAS II, Harisson & Oakland, 2012). We found significant differences regarding communication, community use and self-care, social skills and general adaptive composite (GAC score), between children in special and public schools. Furthermore, teachers emphasize that: (1) society, in general, has a tolerant attitude toward children with educational special needs; (2) families with such children choose a public school mostly in order to integrate their children in society and to ensure them the right to equal chances; (3) differential assessment strategies are needed for these children and adaptation of the curriculum to their needs; (4) children with special needs have a real chance of success in a public school. Results are analysed in relationship with teacher's roles, opinions and attitudes toward the integration of autistic children in public schools.

Abstract:
Cerebral oedema in diabetic ketoacidosis (CODKA) is a controversial subject both in medical and forensic practice as well as in the specialized literature, in the light of the non-homogeneous theories regarding the pathophysiological mechanisms. It would seem that the ground of CEDKA would be a combination/fusion of processes that affect both metabolic changes in diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA) and aggressive therapy to combat DKA. This article wants to underline the importance of knowing and deepening the pathophysiological mechanism that leads to the installation of cerebral oedema (CO) in DKA, focusing on the potential of the thanatogenerator mechanism.

Abstract:

Objective: Bronchoscopy is a diagnostic procedure. Due to lack of cooperation of children, pediatric bronchoscopy is necessarily accompanied by anesthesia. The most prevailing method of anesthesia in children is inhaled anesthesia, but since duration of anesthesia is long and there is involuntary respiration in this method, the amount of dispersed gas is high. The objective of this review is comparing inhaled anesthesia with sevoflurane and intravenous anesthetics with propofol in children under flexible bronchoscopy, in order to do a more appropriate and safe bronchoscopy and also to improve recovery after general anesthesia in children.

Methodology: 80 children under the age of 10 who were going under flexible bronchoscopy, were randomly divided into two groups of 40 individuals. For anesthesia of one group inhaled sevoflurane was given, and for the second group intravenous propofol was given; then in both groups changes in blood pressure, heart rate, O2 saturation t, and recovery time were recorded and compared.

Findings: There is no significant difference in three times measurement of both anesthetics. In other words the average blood pressure shows no difference after anesthesia, start of bronchoscopy, and end of bronchoscopy in both anesthetics (P-value=0.771). Moreover, no significant difference was observed in three times measurement of both anesthetics. This means that the average heart rate shows no difference after anesthesia, start of bronchoscopy, and end of bronchoscopy in both anesthetics. Furthermore, the average o2sat is different after anesthesia, start of bronchoscopy, and end of bronchoscopy in both anesthetics (P-value>0.001).

Abstract:

With the interest and attention that the Blockchain and the Distributed Ledger Technologies (DLTs) have recently demanded, the technology is advancing at a very high rate. With investors and applications in a wide variety of fields, a lot of funding and efforts are being driven into bringing the technology to everyday use. The community and companies are coming up with new ways to collaborate, which makes the blockchain ecosystem evolve at full tilt. Consequently, this paper's aim is to review the academic and grey literature and to provide readers with information about the evolution, benefits and challenges of the Public Distributed Ledger Technologies and to discuss the latest solutions, which are being developed for bringing decentralization closer to the mainstream. The paper reviews the Directed Acyclic Graph (DAG) structured distributed ledgers with focus on the Hedera Hashgraph, a novelty DLT bringing a unique consensus algorithm with new use-cases enabled by new cryptoeconomic mechanisms, as well as vital services, such as Solidity smart contracts and distributed file storage. Then, we are going to explore second-layer network protocols, a major topic for solving scalability issues and for decentralizing cryptocurrency exchanges. The article tries also to identify the particularities of these technologies and how they bring specific answers to the blockchain trilemma, consisting in three themes - scalability, interoperability and sustainability.

Abstract:

The public digital outing refers to people creating and sharing personal information over the social media platforms. This specific digital outing behaviour is none of the less uniquely vulnerable to the negative effects of the digital public, triggering the individual's digital self-confidence injuring, and negatively impacting individual's digital outing confidence. Starting from the assumption that the digital outing confidence might mediate the association between the IV internet content awareness and the DV digital behavioural regulation, we have investigated this relationship under a micro research driven from the database collected under the Erasmus+ project Hate's Journey. Our team has designed an 18 items online questionnaire composed by single items measures, testing different opinions and perceptions related to the digital behaviour construct. Project team has collected 206 valid responses from resident individuals of Spain, Romania, Turkey and Latvia. Results confirm the partial mediation of digital outing confidence in the digital behaviour regulation and internet content awareness relationship. Conclusions and implications are discussed.

Abstract:
The analysis of the State Border Guard Service Information and Telecommunication Systems, which provide the activity of the information and analytical units of the Border Guard Agency, has been carried out. The peculiarity of such systems lies in the requirement of true-time operation. Moreover, even a minor malfunction or a halt in operation can result in serious national scale damages. Thus, the modernization process quality evaluation will allow to choose among the many available options the most efficient and consecutively to increase the effectiveness of administrative decision-making while protecting Ukraine's borders. Based on the analysis of the researches in the field of information and telecommunication systems quality assessment, the theory of effectiveness of goal-oriented processes is proposed to use. This approach most accurately describes the system effectiveness concept as the standard to achieve the system's goal. To describe the approaches to quality assessment, the semantics of the input parameters of the effectiveness evaluation scheme has been developed and the indicator of the effectiveness of the Information and Telecommunication System functioning has been justified, on the basis of which the effectiveness evaluation scheme has been evolved.

Abstract:

Nowadays fraudulent transactions of every type represent a major concern in the financial industry due to the total amount of money that are lost every year. Manually analyzing fraudulent transactions is unfeasible if we think at the huge amount of data and the complexity of bank fraud in the digitization era. In this context, the problem to detect the fraud can be achieved by machine-learning algorithms due to their ability of detecting small anomalies in very large datasets. The problem that arise here is that the datasets are highly unbalanced meaning that the non-fraudulent cases heavily dominates the fraudulent ones. In this paper, we are going to present three ways of handling unbalanced datasets by: resampling methods (undersampling and oversampling), cost-sensitive training and tree algorithms (decision tree, random forest and Naïve Bayes), emphasizing the idea of why the Receiver Operating Characteristics curve (ROC) should not be used on this type of datasets when measuring the performance of the algorithm. The experimental test was applied on a number of 890,977 banking transactions in order to observe the performance metrics of all the three methods mentioned above.

Abstract:
This paper examines the role of energy intensity on the relation between financial development and environmental pollution for BRICS countries consists of the period 1990-2015. Financial development indicates the countries' currency capacities, which is significant for net energy importer countries that need currency to sustain their energy import. Additionally, for all countries, environmental degradation is important for sustainable growth. So in this study, we employ Panel Smooth Transition Regression Model (PSTR) to evaluate the "threshold" level of energy intensity which has vital role for consumption of energy. The findings indicate that for full sample there are three energy intensity threshold points. Above the threshold point (11.4%), an increment in financial development index causes more environmental pollution. However, below that energy intensity threshold point, an increase in financial development negatively affects environmental pollution. So this study may be a guide for decision makers and political authorities for sustainable energy supply and sustainable environment.

Abstract:

The paper is aimed to indicate the multifaceted problems that international students, in particular, those who belong to non-European intellectual traditions, meet at Sumy National Agrarian University, Ukraine. The authors examined the scientific works concerning Chinese students' intercultural adaptation experience in foreign universities. It was found out that successful intercultural adaptation process depends on effective interpersonal communication, which improves language proficiency, motivation, and promotes students' interaction with representatives of foreign cultures. Interviews and questionnaires with the international students were compiled and processed to determine the main problems of adaptation from physiological, socio-psychological, socio-cultural, academic points of view. The data for the survey was collected through observation over the participants, focusing on students' ability to keep the norms and rules of behaviour in Ukraine; ability to establish and maintain ties with the representatives of other cultures; ability to overcome intercultural tension in the process of communication. Thus, it has been concluded that intercultural adaptation can be successful only in the process of psychological, social, and cultural accommodation of international students, which can be gained with the following strategies: social facilitation, cultural awareness, psychological and pedagogical support, effective organization of interpersonal communication of students in the academic group, dormitories, communication with lecturers both at classes and outside the university.

Abstract:
The result of military personnel practical training lies in skilful and confident actions using available weapons and military equipment in all types of the combined arms operation. There is a need to use training and simulation equipment in order to increase the force proficiency, to save resources in weapons and military equipment use. Analysis of the ground forces personnel military training system in the militarily developed leading countries of the world indicates the tendency of further reduction of the weapons and military equipment use for the personnel professional training, the introduction of new forms and methods into training with the use of simulators, training and simulation equipment and training and simulation complexes. The armies of NATO countries have a tendency to use full-scale simulators designed to provide cadets with specific skills that allow the personnel training as part of crews (teams), platoons, company and other units, as well as to carry out the full range of their functional responsibilities. The authors of the article have developed a method for assessing the effectiveness of the military personnel competitive activity when solving tactical tasks using laser tag type two-way skirmish simulators, which allows to determine the level of separate components training (the skills level of separate tactical techniques accomplishment, tactical, physical, psychological readiness) and to carry out the personnel training level assessment as a whole. The assessment included the most important training level criteria which characterize a degree of a serviceman tactical training and have an influence upon the real end result when solving the tactical tasks by the unit as a whole.
