✨ BRAIN Junior Researchers – Publishing Guidelines
Scope
BRAIN Junior Researchers welcomes contributions from high school students and undergraduate students who are curious about Artificial Intelligence, Neuroscience, Cognitive Science, and related interdisciplinary fields. The section is designed to foster scientific creativity, critical thinking, and early engagement with research.
Types of Submissions
- Short research notes – summaries of small projects, experiments, or literature reviews conducted by students.
- Essays – reflective or argumentative essays on AI, neuroscience, or ethical implications of technology.
- Creative science communication – posters, infographics, or short reports aimed at explaining complex ideas in simple terms.
- Interviews / profiles – stories about young researchers’ journeys or dialogues with mentors.
- Educational videos: short video presentations explaining scientific concepts in an accessible way.
- Review videos/articles: critical reviews or reflections on papers previously published in our journal.
Format Requirements
- Manuscripts should be 2–5 pages, written in clear English.
- A title, author name(s), affiliation (school/university), and email address must be included.
- References are encouraged but may follow a simplified style (APA, IEEE, or consistent format).
Review Process
- Submissions will undergo a light editorial review, focusing on clarity, originality, and relevance, rather than strict peer review.
- Mentorship and constructive feedback will be provided to help students improve their work.
Ethics and Originality
- All submissions must be original and authored by the student(s).
- Proper acknowledgment of sources is required.
- Plagiarism or AI-generated text without disclosure is not permitted.
